Our depots are equipped with multiple shear lines and bending machinery, enabling FBR to routinely manage numerous large-scale cut & bent reinforcement projects at any time. During 2022-2023, each site was complimented by Schilt automated rebar shear lines, significantly increasing capacity to process cut rebar. Investment in machinery, technology and experienced staff enables FBR to service the most demanding reinforcement projects and schedules. Delivery on our FORS Gold standard fleet gives our customers the confidence that their reinforcement requirements can be met at competitive rates across the UK.
A fully fabricated reinforcement cage service is offered from both depots, removing the requirement for hazardous on-site assembly processes. All of our cages are MIG welded under factory conditions to the relevant requirements of BS EN ISO 176601:2006 and BS 8548:2017 and UK CARES Quality and Operations Assessment Schedule 11 (tack welding) and Schedule 12 (semi-structural joints). This ensures robust and accurately assembled reinforcement cages reach site ready for immediate installation. Investment pile cage fabrication machines allows FBR to manage multi-rig contracts alongside day-today commercial piling requirements.
Each depot supports significant stocks of reinforcement materials, allowing FBR the flexibility to quickly respond to unexpected design alterations and fluctuating demands from a multiple sites at any time.
